Does anyone else get “Nina completes nuclear pow4r then Schneizel makes a doomsday device for [insert cliche reason here] then Lelouch unmasks himself and convinces Nina to kill him” vibes for the ending? 
I don’t know how else you’re supposed to make Nina and Milly’s “GO FACE THE WORLD!11″ bullshit be relevant other than putting Nina into a situation where she’s supposed to go against him. She’s probably going to shoot him in the head in 25. (Or nuke him.)
So apparently Geass is a “High Maintenance” show that requires all sorts of attention paid to it while watching.
I… I… what?
I know from editing it that a large chunk of the dialog is contrived, filler-esque, rambling bullshit. Shit, even the timers realize it. ChaosShadow always cries that Geass is around 450 lines per week, and that episodes of Macross Frontier are roughly half the lines. Hell, even the first two hour long Kara no Kyoukai movies have about the same length script as an episode of Geass.
As for the question I posed in my entry title, I’m leaning towards “people are just really stupid”. The reason why I made the “Geass FAQ” page is because some of the stupid questions on there were ones that people ask in #gg daily. ._.;
Of course, a wall of tl;dr about “paying attention” is really fucking ironic on RandomC, the anime blog where the head writer thought that Miya Hilmick is the same character as the woman in the preview.
Diethard’s voice actor needs to faaabulous a bit! Nunnally’s voice actor needs to drink poison and die.
But moving along, what’s with the person who makes the script for the Geass dub? You know, you don’t have to make Zero’s lines sound awkward to match them up to lip syncing. He’s wearing a fucking mask so his lips aren’t even moving on-screen.
What am I talking about? The awkward sound of “The man who killed Clovis… was myself.” in this weeks Geass dub episode. :| I’m not complaining about the Black Ranger’s voice acting since… well, everyone else does that, but the actual line itself seems poor. Zero was wearing his mask so it’s not like they had to phrase it a certain way to lip sync. If you take away the “who killed Clovis” part, the sentence is “The man was myself.” Zuh. Who uses a construction like that?
