Bismark

“Oh hey Suzaku hold on a minute I need to answer the radio”

Order of events:

1. Suzaku attacks Charles.
2. Bismark blocks him.
3. Suzaku fights Bismark.
4. Bismark knocks Suzaku down.
5. An explosion occurs.
6. Bismark stops fighting Suzaku and goes to his radio.
7. During this time, Suzaku… what… just sits there…?
8. Bismark doesn’t keep an eye on him until he sees him run away later.

I’m pretty sure that if Suzaku had run up to Bismark when he was answering the radio, Bismark would have been able to kick his ass while talking on the radio. On the other hand, what the fuck was going on in this scene? How do we move from Suzaku is on the ground and there’s an explosion to Bismark is answering the radio? “Hey Suzaku, don’t move, I’ll brb!” “Yes, my Lord!” If Bismark thought he was downed and wasn’t getting up anytime soon or he was being asshole or something, then maybe they should have shown him looking at Suzaku baaawing on the ground then Bismark hmph’ing and walking away. Or are we just supposed to assume that happens or what. (Or the second meaning to authority really is “Bismark”)

Edit: In case this is unclear, I’m asking why Bismark left Suzaku sitting on the ground and went to the radio.

Xabin and I have figured out the rest of the series! (Well, no.) But it’s been 41 episodes, 2 recaps, and 22 months since Suzaku told Lelouch in S1 04 that RESULTS ARE NOT THE RIGHT APPROACH… Just for him to come to this, and Lelouch to wonder if methods are the right way in the extended preview.

Marianne and C.C.

Must get this out of my head before fagsubbing.

In the episode, it’s revealed Marianne has some kind of magic h4x Geass, which C.C. gave her. However, Marianne “violated the contract”. This is likely related to her “I don’t want immortality” shit from the storyboard pencils.

Marianne herself says that she didn’t come to C.C.’s museum ‘o memories out of concern for Lelouch, which C.C. thought was the case, but rather because she wanted to know if C.C. was still in league with Marianne and some other folks. We’ve got no clue who those other folks are, but Marianne specifically says watashitachi (”we”), so uhmmmm.

Her comment where she teases C.C. about thinking she’s that kind of ideal mother makes her seem all shadyish on the inside because the way she’s been presented until now is with fabulous glitter sparkling around her. Maybe she’s been hyped up as an awesome and amazing Mary Sue-type on purpose. Maybe she’s like female version of Schneizel? Hell, maybe they’re working together, and that thing about Schneizel taking away her body wasn’t really the Emperor’s order.

Marianne also says that C.C.’s code is something she sealed herself. So where does the magazine thing about Charles stealing her code come from? D: Furthermore, if you can seal your code by yourself, why baaaw about immortality? This screams “plot hole” until they expand on it more, imo.

Marianne’s death caused Lelouch to create a terrorist organization and that puts people into massive conflict! She seems to be aware of the events of the world from within the World of C, and her reaction to it all? “Fucking lulz! C.C. do you like him, y/n?”

Shouldn’t… this kind of thing have been an early indicator about her?

R2 20 - EVERY FUCKING PERSON LOEV KAMINEJIMA!

• Basically, in this episode, everyone and their mom goes to Kamine Island.
• Schneizel meanwhile stages a coup and is like, “Sure Suzaku, be mah Knight of One.”
• Bismark appears to have a magical red glowing thing under his eye! What happened to that thing about his character design presenting someone who had “been through a lot” in battle, and what was what the sealed/scarred eye was for…?
• The magazine scan about Marianne being inside of Anya and restoring C.C.’s memories was completely correct. I hope the people on AnimeSuki who went, “That’s obviously Photoshopped” feel like idiots now.
• Marianya is fairly “tee-hee” and has a… you know… personality.
• Ougi and co. keep pictures of their dead friends. It shows Yoshida, Inoue, some random guy, and then before it shows the fourth picture, it cuts off. I BET IT’S NAOTO.
• Ougi and co tell everyone that Zero died, Orange asks to see his face etc, Ougi’s like “no u”.
• Schneizel, China and the Black Knights have all buddied up… Or rather, they stay buddied up for now. Magazine stuff for 22 says that they’re at war.
• People thought this episode’s animation quality was kinda shitty. Maybe the spoilers from the Korean blog end around what we think is ep 20-ish because they went back to Japan for the animation. ;p
• The Korean blog stuff about Kallen and Lelouch must come in a different episode.
• Lelouch Geasses someone to hold someone elses eyes open for him. Awesome.
• Nice touch of consistency: The guy at the Shikine Base who Lelouch Geasses to be his bitch is exact same dude from S1. Guess he didn’t get in trouble for losing Euphy after all!
• Gino is un-amused about Schneizel’s coup and gets house arrested for disagreeing.
• Suzaku goes to kill the Emperor with a normal sword, just to be stopped by the Knight of One who randomly appears out of nowhere. Sure fine.
• The end eyecatch was 12. Koda approves.
• Lelouch and Charles are sealed in some… uh, place. The preview spells out “ep 21 = Eva 25+26″ for some people. I can’t really blame them.
• Oh, and Nina appeared near the start of the episode. “HOLY SHIT, I KILLED PEOPLE?” Talk about a DELAYED REACTION.
• Orite, Suzaku is like, “Bitch where’s my Lancelot Albion?” and Lloyd kinda lol’s at him.
• There are Geass ruins all around the world which Charles tries to unite. There’s one in Antartica, hence, PENGUINS.
• People on AnimeSuki need to get the fuck off of the internet. Kare wo is clearly the same as saying Kallen. Fuuuuuck off. witacume, I’m sorry, but ignoring you the next time you ask me for help. D:
• Marianya says the line from the e-newsletter this episode.
• ABANDON ALL HOPE YE WHO ENTER in the next ep preview.

R2 20: LIVE GEASS VS IMMORTALITY

I’m srsly lol’ing. The TV guide summary for R2 20 that Zhang posted says that Lelouch goes to Kaminejima to settle the score with his dad, and Schneizel orders Suzaku to kill Charles. LIVE GEASS VS IMMORTALITY, THUNDERDOME!

HOLY SHIT PENGUINS

The ep 20 extended preview has penguins. Obviously Lelouch is going to go north and become the Emperor of the North Pole and Geass Santa Claus into solving the problems of the world. The touching hour long season finale in which Lelouch defeats Britannia by reminding them about the spirit of Christmas will include Schneizel becoming not-a-dick and kissing Kannon under the mistletoe. D’aaaaaaaaaw.

…hm okay I need to go to sleep or something. Edit: Especially since I was actually tired enough to think that the North and South poles are the SAME PERSON.

…actually, I DON’T FUCKING CARE WHERE PENGUINS LIVE THEY SHOULD GO VISIT SANTA-SAN TOO. Edit Again: I’M SURE SANTA-SAN WOULD FUCKING LOVE PENGUINS AND PUT FISH IN THEIR STOCKINGS.

Koshimizu posted the ep 17 summary from TV Weekly. Based on it, the CompAce 17-20 stuff, and the Korean blog, I’m theorizing how 17-20, as well as the general end of the series, will get played out.
