K, look, it’s the post season, and all of the creative staff is basically saying “Lelouch is dead” in the magazine interviews and booklets and on the Geass NET webpage. Taniguchi’s “decide for yourself” comment was about whether Lelouch got a happy end or not.
Lelouch is dead, hurf durf.
If we go by my interpretation, the show lifespan represented Lelouch’s lifespan as well.
Thus, all of you faggots who think Lelouch is alive, think he’s alive because in reality you don’t want the show to be over. You fucking crack addicts. Go get help.
When I made that “Is Lelouch dead or alive?” poll, I had this post in mind, but I’ve been unable to write it because I took the wrong approach to it. I was trying to give evidence from show lines without realizing that I wasn’t really giving evidence, but rather I was looking at the script and asking myself, “If I had written this, what would I have wanted another person to get out of it?” Hence, as an overanalyzer, I would have to say that Lelouch is dead. I’m supposed to be studying for my exam tomorrow, but making an image that makes fun of Geassed Schneizel is as productive as studying. I’m still wondering what the fuck was going through his mind about Zerozaku and Lelouch. (Hit the read more for the fruits of my labor.) Read more »
The meaning of Schneizel’s mask is tricky. He has a mask, and yet he doesn’t. His mask can be identified by his lies. That’s not a very special mask, it’s the same mask shared by everyone that Charles speaks of and wishes to destroy. But at the same time, it’s not much of a mask because he doesn’t really go to great efforts to hide his lies. In the end, Schneizel does something like wear a mask that looks exactly like his own face.
Schneizel has been a character who’s kept us guessing for a while, when in reality we had no real reason to. We always thought he had something up his sleeve like a good magician, but naw. He’s left himself out in the open. We were just looking for something that wasn’t there because we didn’t know any better. And it wasn’t just us, it was Lelouch too. Read more »
After the past/present/future comparison from R2 24, I’ve got an idea for an AU spin off series: Ah! My Geass! It will star college student Kannon Maldini (Keiichi Morisato - FUCK SAME INITIALS), who dials up a Britannian Royalty service by mistake instead of Pizza Hut. Result? Now Schneizel (Belldandy) is living with him under a contract. Also stars Lelouch (Skuld) and Charles (Urd). To make this sound less like an excuse to make Kannon and Schneizel live together, this also metaphorically works out, as Schneizel has a “fucked up wish granter” gimmick to him. (I’m not being very convincing.)
It would be fucking awesome.
Edit/Re - The Comments: It should have been obvious I was going off the deep end by the simple fact I had a blog dedicated to one anime and I was dedicating time to subbing it and blogging about it entirely because of a crush on a character who gets 0 screen time. If you didn’t pick up based on that, then you should have been able to after the Lelouch of the High School Rebellion post! I rest my case.
So people are looking at this phrase carefully. They’re zooming on the fact that he orders Schneizel to serve Zero in specifically, thinking this is relevant to Zero Requiem or whatever. Blah blah who the fuck cares. I think there’s something else worth pointing out: What if Geassed Schneizel had been a complete smart ass and not listened to Lelouch because he wasn’t in the Zero get up? THEN WHAT? Speculation about that is far more comical and interesting than speculating about what the shit Zero Requiem is and why he specifically told Schneizel to “Serve Zero”. Really now.
…even though I’ve wanted Schneizel to die for a while, I now think he should live past 25 purely for irony. “Oh Schneizel, what’s a matter, you wanna die? Why? ‘Cause it’d be something new for your bored ass? Ahahah, little brother doesn’t want you getting what you want. :D”
So, frequently misspelled, you wanna strike a new bet? Your Schneizel x Kannon post was kinda lacking. Battro agrees.
lol ignore this. i forgot misinterpreted something from the raw, but still amusing~
The log says everything. Editing into a proper post is not required.
[schneizel] okay i guess lelouch is going to go rule the world with schneizel as his perma-geass’ed right hand man :v
[schnwtfhisname] fuck why is that making sense.
[schnwtfhisname] the geass would make him have like…effort.
[schneizel] yes.
[schneizel] it made him have effort
[schneizel] and start caring
[schneizel] kannon ntoices that
[schnwtfhisname] yeah.
[schneizel] …watch, omg.
[schneizel] schneizel + “EFFORT”geass = most broken character
[schnwtfhisname] so for all the buildup, this is his “punishment”
[schnwtfhisname] lol indeed.
[schneizel] since he can apparently remove a gun from his coat and fire it at the fucking speed of light before diethard can even react
[schnwtfhisname] if Lelouch is smart enough to realize that
[schneizel] so basically we have like an uber-xingke* who is completely loyal to lelouch.
[schneizel] great.
[schnwtfhisname] D:
[schneizel] in [EFFORT] state
[schneizel] schneizel can probably outwit him in chess in like [5 seconds]
[schneizel] ~!
[schnwtfhisname] lolol.
[schneizel] then lelouch is gunna regret this shit
[schneizel] and be like
[schneizel] “GOD DAMN JEREMIAH”
[schneizel] “get THE FUCK OVER HERE”
* = gun-wielding xingke, anyway
Guys, we need to quit lying to ourselves. It’s time for the Kalulu and CClulu shippers to face the facts: Both of those pairings fucking suck. Get over yourselves and quit spamming the fucking romance threads at AnimeSuki. How am I supposed to brainwash people into ShunaKan if the threads are a bunch of rambling bullshit about who gets to sleep with Lelouch? Kallen and C.C. both need to give up Lelouch and go for each other. Read more »
There’s a theory that Diethard is there to fuck over Schneizel and is actually working with Lelouch entirely based on that shitfaced grin Diethard was giving him, but I have a counter to it.
If Diethard is his ace in the hole, why does Lelouch think the only person he can rely on is Nina? Listen to his thoughts at the end of the episode. He thinks his only trump card is Nina. This was in his head, so its not like he’d have to filter out that Diethard is secretly still with him.
If Diethard turns out to be working with him all along, then I would like to label Lelouch’s inner thoughts from the end of the episode as bad and forgetful writing.
Edit: I have also considered that Diethard is actually on Lelouch’s side and Lelouch DOESN’T KNOW IT etc, but that’s not really the theory I’m talking about. The theory is specifically that their exchanged glances means “KEIKAKU DOORI.”
This is for the frequently misspelled, even though it wasn’t the intent. It started out as a post where I was rambling about Schneizel after the developments of the last episode, but it turned into the post that he requested of me earlier: Something srsbsns about Charles vs Lelouch vs Schneizel.
The title of the post is from the Dark Knight. Schneizel/Joker comparison images popped up last night, and I’m inclined to agree with what’s expressed by them. Read more »
Idea: Think everyone’s a liar? Let’s get into some occult stuff and try to remove the MASKS that people wear! Everyone will be nice to each other!
Method: Conquer lands to be in control of the Geass ruins, do everything to make sure that Britannia keeps the areas where these said ruins are.
Casualties: People who die as a result of his conquests. Probably the least number of casualties.
Power: His Geass code, understanding of occult stuff.
Flowery Language: Kill God and rid the world of lies.
Idea: Britannia is a shitty country and it needs to be broken apart. I’ll turn the world into a kinder place, like what Nunnally said!
Method: Make a terrorist group to harass Britannia. After becoming Emperor, he changes his method to making himself a puppy kicker so that we all just hate on Britannia.
Casualties: Those who get in his way, plus some loved ones he didn’t want to get involved.
Power: Geass, Suzaku.
Flowery Language: CRUSH THE WORLD!
Idea: The world in its current state sucks. People need to be disciplined into peace, or rather have peace forced down their throats.
Method: FLEIA the “countries that wage war” (read: blow up the world). Also, manipulate the shit out of everyone along the way.
Casualties: The citizens of those countries. “One or two billion”… or so.
Power: Pink sphere of death, manipulation.
Flowery Language: Then I’ll become God.
All 3 of them dislike the current state of the world and want it to change somehow, and want to bring about peace all in their own fucked up little ways. Makes you wonder what the fuck people are taught as children in Britannia. Man, Euphy wanted to change crap too though she was a complete dumbass about it. Changing the World 101 is a mandatory class for royals. Anyway, they come to differences down the road when you think about what happens to the world after it changes. Charles and Schneizel are bitter emo adults or something. A forced kindness brought about by metaphysical bullshit, a forced peace brought about by fear don’t really represent “the future”. Lelouch is still a hopeful younger dude so he believes in the future. This series is some bitter adults who gave up (I guess) on mankind, and a kid with a Sailor Moon wand for a sword leading others towards the future. Mai haanii wanted a srsbsns post about “lol all 3 are trying to change the world”, but I don’t think it needs srsbsns.
I started writing something in last night’s pot ‘o potpourri and then it turned into a long run on sentence and now I’m going to expand on what I was writing there further. Also, fuck structured writing. I just feel like spewing shit. Lack of self-editing is kind of fun. Not even going to re-read to see if I happened to change my mind in the process of writing. I fully expect this will be a 1k+ word wall of incoherent text by the time I’m done. Read more »
Schneizel is a the Joker.
Lelouch is the motherfucking Batman.
…Nunnally can be Harvey Dent.
Yes, no, maybe?
(Random: The most common tags on my blog are Schneizel [71] and Theory [29]. D:)
I have decided after re-watching R2 22 that Damocles has a blue Disneyland Castle on top of it (Note: this is also the background for the scene in the opening when Nunnally throws the crane, I think), meaning the top of Damocles is Disneyland itself. Since Schneizel is stupidly rich and utterly ridiculous (thanks to our friend, the rainbow colored bathos we call “FABULOUS”), building a Disneyland Theme Park on top of your flying fortress of doom is absolutely normal.
Which brings me to this picture. See how Lelouch is passed out from the Tea Cups ride in the background? Yeah? Okay, when Lelouch gets to the top of Damocles and enters the castle, he’s going to have to battle the Tea Cups ride and the Its a Small World ride, and fail miserably.
Chess as the final battle? Haha, we have been trolled. It’s Disneyland, bitches.
The World of C is the collective unconscious. It collects souls; the thoughts and memories of those souls. Within it, reincarnation occurs because the thoughts of the dead resurface. Some people call it the great will, some people call it God.
Charles says he wanted to kill this “God” but is that really what he meant? This “God” is, basically, history. You can’t defeat it. You can’t change history - it’s already happened. Charles wanted to change the past, bring the dead back to life (Edit: This is not literally, I mean in the terms of how they would have been able to communicate with the dead again if the Ragnarok Connection had been successful), and figured he could do so by destroying the boundary between man and “God”.
Namely, Charles wanted his mother back. He hated the throne for it’s what put his family in turmoil, yet he took it. He extended this desire for himself and mutated it into what he thought was something for the good of mankind. Like father, like son. Where they differ is in the part of God that has yet to be created, the future.
But where does say, Marianne, fit into this? Why did she side with Charles? For what purpose did C.C. create something like the Followers of Geass?
Koshimizu posted this picture of a drawing board picture featuring Lelouch in some new clothes. Presumably this is his “Emperor Lelouch” equipment.
That hat is… uh…
So I was thinking about that “LAST BOSS = SCHNEIZEL” comment. I really hope it doesn’t mean that the LAST BATTLE in Geass is Lelouch vs Schneizel in chess. Lelouch is supposed to get a satisfactory ending too. I guess a “satisfactory ending” would be kicking Schneizel’s ass at chess since apparently he’s been butthurt about this since he was like 6. However for the roller coaster that is Geass, that seems fairly anti-climatic for an ending.
Oh damn this is from like 6hrs ago. Thought I posted it before I went to bed. D:

[raspberry] 30sec preview
[Xabin] kawaii
[raspberry] lol is that schneizel taking over great britannia :v
[Xabin] rofl @ lelouch saying “maybe you were right, suzaku. what’s important is the method.”
[raspberry] they’re going to switch ideals
[raspberry] at ep 21
[raspberry] :WOOP:
[Xabin] >_>
[raspberry] lelouch becomes a methodman, and now suzaku only cares for results
[Xabin] and then suzaku becomes zero
[raspberry] oshi-
[raspberry] LELOUCH PILOTS LANCELOT ALBION
Xabin and I have figured out the rest of the series! (Well, no.) But it’s been 41 episodes, 2 recaps, and 22 months since Suzaku told Lelouch in S1 04 that RESULTS ARE NOT THE RIGHT APPROACH… Just for him to come to this, and Lelouch to wonder if methods are the right way in the extended preview.
