Public Reactions

Few people in Britannia are shown to have any reaction to the facts that a giant purple sphere of destruction A) exists and B) killed a bunch of their people. This isn’t the first time I’ve felt the reaction was not there (hi R2 13). From our PoV, we’ve mostly seen Britannian military. Not getting some kind of reaction out of them when they’re soldiers might be expected since war etc people die when they are killed etc. But this is highlighted in weirdness when Gino recognizes in R2 19 that a pointless loss of life makes something out to be no longer a war, but then he suddenly uhh forgets this by R2 20 and seemingly has no problem playing a game of billiards over the place where 35mil people died.
