Meh…too lazy to put my comments in proper, flowing paragraphs, so I’m just gonna do it in a type of outline form.

1. Damocles doesn’t need a conventional (well, conventional for the world of Code Geass) energy source; it’s powered by FABULOUS.

2a. Considering that F.L.E.I.J.A. is a bomb, not a beam, and there’s no need to actually launch it when you’re hovering right over your target and can let gravity pull it down for you, recoil probably isn’t that much of a problem.

2b. Another explanation: the recoil goes to the same place the recoil from the Lancelot’s VARIS rifles and (former) hadron cannon go. Also to where the recoil from Mordred’s hadron goes.

3. When you consider that Code Geass takes place in what for us would be around the end of the first half of the 20th century, your explanation about Disney is actually more plausible than might be originally thought.

I wonder about their energy source. It doesn’t seem like there is enough space for a power plant. XD

I also wonder how it keeps floating, I mean, once you shoot that beam don’t you like, fly backwards like you’re shooting a bazooka 10 times you size? 8o?

The only ride possible is the pendulum! Coz when it gains momentum you stop pushing, and you can’t stop it, and it’s symbolic.

Clearly he probably has a tea garden in spaceproof greenhouse somewhere, as well as a Zoo for the sake of reproducing something like Noah’s Arch (there are dinosaurs n poneys too). lD That’s the only real reason he leaves the remote for shooting huge effing holes to a blind girl. He had it all planned before hand.

The castle was indeed, designed by Disney, who in the world of Geass is nothing but an architect. Because all the fabulous is copyrighted to Schneizel.

The truth is Sunrise needs to sell more merchandise, hence all the mech upgrades and superfluous secondary characters (hello figurines).

Taniguchi has abandoned all writing long ago and has started copying fanfics from 2ch. The problem is when he pasted it into his version of MS Word it got jumbled with the other copypasta. That’s why it seems so disjointed.

The show is full of these things. People go to great lengths to rationalize them away, but the truth seems to be that it is because the writers are making it up as the go along and don’t remember what they wrote earlier.

You know what? I just realized something, and yes… I am a little slow on the uptake:
Curly lied to Spinzaku about him being the only KoR that knows about geass… which makes him a hypocrite? I mean the entire show was BUILT around Curly and his ‘I’m gonna make everyone tell the truth’ shit. He even gets pissed at V.V. for lying to him. So why go through all that show if he has no problem lying to get what he wants? I wouldn’t call it a plothole (or would I?), but you gotta admit that it’s pretty big.
And you can’t blame this on having to throw out the old script, cause Curly told Spinzaku that in R2.
