R2 DVD1/BD1 shipment
R2 shipped 100k+ copies (combined between DVD and BluRay Disc). The Macross F dual release figure was also around that much, though figures were given for the individual discs.
Oh, and the prices:
Vol. 1 BluRay: 4200 円 [$38]
Vol. 1 DVD: 3150 円 [$29]
Vol. 2+ BluRay: 7350 円 [$67]
Vol. 2+ DVD: 6300 円 [$57]
(Also, where the hell is my own R2 BluRay. >_>; Hopefully not being held captive somewhere like `House’s. With all my luck, it’s in Hawaii or California hanging out with Clovis on the beach.)

Irrelevant post is irrelevant… Also, like most of the English voice actors, it’s pretty good. Your just most likely used to the Japanese VA.
Anyway back to the matter at hand. It’s good to see the sales are doing well. I guess bad ratings don’t always translate to bad sales.

Also…NIPPON BANZAI. If the show still sells enough to move that many DVDs / BDs, Bandai and Sunrise can’t possibly pull the plug at the last minute or do something equally retarded, like some people tried to speculate .
