Common Sense and R2 14
- Suzaku: What happened to results are worthless if the method wasn’t very good?
- Suzaku, Again: Why did you let Nunnally be by herself in a circular room with a narrow walkway and PITS OF DOOM she could’ve rolled off into?
- People who complain about Suzaku: Why didn’t you ever realize before that Suzaku is a delusional faggot?
- People who say that “Omg y u do dis Suzaku! It’s especially painful for Kallen because her of her mom!”: Does Suzaku even know about Kallen’s mom?
- V.V.: You can teleport, and you can talk to C.C. through the World of C. Why didn’t you ever think of uh, fucking teleporting to C.C. or teleporting her to you if you want to capture her so badly?
- Rivalz + Other Students: …wearing your school uniform to a funeral is tacky!
- Cornelia: Who told you about the Geass Cult?
- Lelouch: You don’t have to fucking give a speech before killing Rolo. If you were that pissed at him, why didn’t you just push Detonator-chan anyway? Also, you’re aware of V.V.’s regeneration, so what exactly were you planning on doing with the bomb on Rolo anyway? Just trying to find an excuse to kill him? Shoulda just pushed Detonator-chan and made a nice hole in the ground.
- Lelouch, Again: You were out in the desert in long sleeves and pants and keeping up the facade that this is in-doors Area 11?

This is Code Geass. Nobody uses common sense.

VV can teleport? When/where is this information revealed? D:
And I think the rolobomb was just to destroy the Siegfried, not VV himself. He was probably planning to stick VV in one of the high pressure cages (or whatever he called them) afterwards. Also, VV/CC’s regeneration isn’t instantaneous, there are plenty of situations where he’s CC fairly debilitated by injuries, so he’s hoping bakuhatsuing VV will debilitate him long enough to cage him.
As for Lelouch hesitating, I think the problem here was just poor editing. He wanted to make sure Rolo was properly stuck to the Siegfried so the bomb would work, but Rolo got knocked away too quickly for that to happen. However, onscreen (this is the part that is due to poor editing/storyboarding), it seems to the viewer that Rolo was stuck to the Siegfried plenty long enough, when (IMO) it was intended to appear as I said before, that Lelouch was waiting to be sure the bomb was close enough, which never happened.
I don’t think I explained that very well but it’s kind of hard to convey what I mean :(

Well, it was revealed previously in the DS game that V.V. was the person C.C. was bitching at in S1 19 for “pretending to be an observer” and that he was the one teleporting them. Then in R2 14, Lelouch asks him if he’s the one who assembled the four of them on Kamine Island, and V.V. replies yes.
(Also, yes, poor direction seems to be the cause of the Siegfried/Bomb bullshit.)

Assuming the teleport power is geass related, doesn’t it imply it won’t work on C.C. as any other geass? Besides, it looks like V.V. needs to be in close proximity to both his targets and the portal in order to activate this power, and I don’t remember seeing him next to C.C. in R2 until the recent episode.
With the bomb it looked to me like Rolo was knocked by the round Cornelia fired while being attached with just one arm. Throw in extremely fast pace of events and the fact that Zero’s reflexes are nowhere near the ones Suzaku possesses…
As for Cornelia… Well, she’s being researching the matter for over a year, and she had some leads at least from the Clovis incident…

He was standing in the Sword of Akasha (in Britannia) when he teleported the four of them to Kamine Island (in Japan).
He also teleported Bartley and the scientists from Britannia to China. (Note that Bartley made no mention of seeing V.V. in Britannia before teleporting them. He’s just like, “Guys weren’t we just in fucking Britannia.” Speaking of Bartley, I’d like to know why Schneizel hasn’t noticed his subordinate and scientists have gone missing. He must be too busy fucking Canon… or maybe he knows.) I considered his teleport not working on C.C., hence why I also put think of teleporting to her.

True, I rewatched the scenes and it seems that teleport power is linked to Akasha device, not V.V. himself. Actually, the one who teleported Lulu in the end of ep.14 was Charles, not V.V.
Still, it looks like you need to know the person’s location, presumably even have to have some sort of contact in order to proceed with teleportation, and the Sword of Akasha doesn’t do this work for you. With that, unless you know where C.C. is, you can neither teleport her, not teleport to her.
It should be a general rule, actually, otherwise V.V. could have teleported some platoons straight to Zero or other Black Knight’s members at any moment.

Well, if Geass wasn’t Geass, they could solve all everything by having V.V. teleport Jeremiah and himself over to Ashford. In Siegfried! We know V.V. knows “where” Ashford is to teleport to it, ’cause he did it at the end of S1~
Dakkar (July 14, 2008 @ 6:35 pm)
But V.V. didn’t know if Lulu had regained his memory or not. Actually, Jeremiah was wondering around looking for Zero’s trace for quite awhile before deciding to go check on Ashford.
Well, surely, after reappearence of Zero the very first reasonable action was to take Lulu into custody, but… it’s Geass :D
miasmacloud (July 14, 2008 @ 6:40 pm)
Frankly, not knowing if he’s actually Zero or not sounds like an even better excuse to push him into a situation where he might be forced to reveal himself, such as showing up randomly at Ashford in Siegfried.
Dakkar (July 14, 2008 @ 7:51 pm)
V.V. is afraid to piss off his brother :D Either they identify Lulu as Zero or not, this won’t bring them any closer to C.C. compared to the moment they started the entire masquerade, thus Charles would have to rewrite the memories of all those kids once again. Not exactly the thing you’d like to do when you’re an Emperor, eh? :)

i don’t think ’sense’ and ‘code geass’ should be in the same sentence together to be honest. unless it’s something like “code geass makes no sense at all” :>

Name one anime that 100% follows common sense? If people wanted common sense then they would be out and about instead of cooped up in their rooms this.

It’s more like nothing in this makes any sense at all. Generally things are supposed to uh… at least sound reasonable?

Go read something like Law of Ueki Plus or Deadman Wonderland before you complain about geass not making sense :x
