Subtle Contradictions

I need to do something else besides watch Miya-kun.

Geassing people into joining him: Not okay.

Influencing people into joining him by Geassing other people into behaving more OOC than fanfiction makes them behave: Okay.

Does anyone else find the difference between these two actions to be uh, minimal? Sure, the terrorists could always refuse him, but you know, after seeing him do something like talking the acting Governor-General of Area 11 (who is also a purist and doesn’t like Honorary Britannians in the military) allow an Honorary Britannian to go free, then turn against the military and country he represents, I wonder who would say no to Zero? Even though Ougi and Kallen kind of pulled along the rest of their terrorist gang to believe in Zero, etc, I felt some truth in what Inoue said about how they felt like they were forced into accepting Zero as their leader at Narita. I don’t mean to sound like Suzaku here and preach about methodology. Fuck, I’d do the same shit if I was Lelouch. However, what I wouldn’t do is delude myself about how I’ve gone about manipulating people into being my bitches.
