Code Geass DS Game
Okay so I braved outside today to check my mail, and found my Code Geass DS game in my mailbox. I think it’s been there since last Thursday. Lawl oops.
[Generic Description Stuff]
The Code Geass DS game was born when someone took Super Robot Wars and put it into a blender with Pizza Hut. The story flow mostly follows the anime, with some creative re-tooling here and there for the RPG setting, and there’s probably over 9000 split paths you can take in a New Game+. On the field, you move a character around and can collect Pizza Hut boxes that give you stuff (like wallpaper or repair items). In battle, there are special skills that KnightMare Frames can use, but they require Drive Gauge. The Drive Gauge stuff reminds me of Wild ARMs 2’s Force Points. Sort of not really. Although it also kind of reminds me of XenoGears because there’s different levels of Drive Gauge. sdfsdkfl.
[Stuff that I thought was lol]
- Despite the fact you move the human character around on the field, in battle, everyone magically switches to being in a KMF! Oh RPG magic.
- When you get Ougi and Tamaki in Shinjuku, Ougi is wearing his first outfit, but Tamaki is wearing his Black Knights gear on the battle pictures and level up screen.
- Enemies in the starting area = MASSIVE EXP or wut. Kallen leveled up once per battle before I moved to the next screen.
- When Lelouch uses Geass, you can pick different things than what he uses in the anime. In example, you can tell the soldier guarding Clovis to go and dance.
[Voice Mode]
Apparently there’s a voice input mode for combo attacks. I haven’t tried this out yet and I’ve got no clue how it works, but I imagine I will fail hard at it with my Weeaboo Moon Accent.
[Basicallllllly...]
Game seems amusing. A+++.
